Who are ASB Installations NI and where are you based?
ASB Installations NI is a local, owner-run business based at Unit 19, The Hatchery, 58 Greystone Road, Antrim BT41 1JZ, with over 30 years in the trade. We install CCTV, calving and lambing cameras, TV aerials, satellite dishes, Starlink and Wi-Fi for homes and farms across Northern Ireland. You deal with the same person from the first call to the finished job.
What areas do you cover?
We cover all of Northern Ireland from our base in Antrim. That includes Ballymena, Ballycastle, Ballymoney, Templepatrick, Magherafelt, Larne, Moira, Portadown and Randalstown. Wherever you are in NI, give us a call on 02894 334054 and we’ll come to you.

CCTV
Who installs home CCTV in Northern Ireland?
We install CCTV for homes and farms right across Northern Ireland, from Antrim and Templepatrick to Larne and Portadown. TP-Link VIGI is our go-to brand because the cameras are solid and the app is dead simple, and we also fit Hikvision, Reolink and Dahua. We set everything up, put the app on your phone and show you how it works. If you can use WhatsApp, you can use the app.
Do you repair CCTV you didn’t install?
Yes. We repair CCTV systems of any brand, whoever fitted them, including Hikvision, Dahua, TP-Link VIGI and Reolink. That covers cameras that have stopped showing a picture and apps that won’t connect to the system. WhatsApp a photo of the recorder or the error message to 07304 049585 and we’ll take a look.
Can you reset a Hikvision NVR password?
Yes. We’re a Hikvision partner, so we can reset Hikvision NVRs and passwords. If you’re locked out of your own system, we’ll get you back in. Give us a ring on 02894 334054.

Farm cameras
Who installs calving cameras in Northern Ireland?
We install calving, lambing and foaling cameras for farms across Northern Ireland, from Ballymena and Ballymoney to Magherafelt and Randalstown. They’re pan and tilt cameras with night vision, motion alerts and two-way audio, so you can check the sheds from your phone, day or night. If you can use WhatsApp, you can use the app. We’re also a Ruralview trade partner, so we can supply and fit Ruralview cameras too.
Do I need good Wi-Fi in the yard for farm cameras?
No. We fit a point-to-point wireless link from the farmhouse out to your sheds, which works like an invisible cable through the air, and add Wi-Fi access points where they’re needed. We only use 4G if there’s really no other option. To watch the cameras on your phone when you’re away from the farm, the system also needs an internet connection, which is often separate from the yard Wi-Fi. When should I get calving or lambing cameras fitted?
Any time of year. Northern Ireland farms calve in autumn, winter and spring, and lambing season comes on top of that, so there’s always a herd that needs watching. Get your cameras in a few weeks before your own calving or lambing starts and you’re ready for the first one. Call 02894 334054 to get booked in.

Aerials & satellite
Can you fix my aerial or satellite dish after a storm?
Yes. We repair storm-damaged aerials and satellite dishes, and re-align or replace them where needed. We’re a Registered Digital Installer (RDI). Call us or WhatsApp a photo to 07304 049585 and we’ll take a look.
Can I get Irish TV channels like Saorview in Northern Ireland?
Yes. We install Saorview aerials for RTÉ and Virgin Media Ireland channels, and Saorsat satellite systems where Irish channels can’t be picked up with an aerial. We also install and repair Freeview aerials and Freesat and Sky satellite dishes.

Are you an authorised Starlink installer?
Yes. ASB Installations is an authorised Starlink installer, and we do permanent mounted installs only, so your dish is fixed securely and cabled neatly rather than left sitting on the ground. Call 02894 334054 or WhatsApp 07304 049585 to get booked in.
Do you install Starlink in Northern Ireland?
Yes. We do permanent mounted Starlink installs only, with the dish fixed properly in the best spot for a clear view of the sky. You order your Starlink kit from Starlink first, then get in touch to book your install date. We can supply any extra mounting brackets and adapters, and we’ll talk through the cost with you before we start.
Can you put Wi-Fi in the farmyard and sheds?
